For every child

Specialist Alternative Provision for children who need a different approach

Support, stability and understanding for your child
What we offer
A calm, structured environment where children feel valued
Our sites are designed to give pupils a fresh start. With small group sizes, consistent routines and supportive staff, we create a space where children can settle, rebuild confidence and re-engage with learning at their own pace.
Your child will benefit from:
  • Small, supportive groups with experienced mentors
  • Clear routines that help reduce anxiety and create emotional stability
  • Personalised support focused on behaviour, wellbeing and social skills
  • Curriculum-based learning, tailored to each pupil’s needs
  • A safe, respectful environment where staff know every child well
  • We know that every child is unique — and that some pupils need a different environment to feel safe, confident and ready to learn. At Chances Mentoring, we provide specialist support for children who struggle to thrive in mainstream settings. Our focus is on understanding each child as an individual and helping them take positive steps forward, both emotionally and academically.
    Family partnership
We work closely with you every step of the way
Parents know their children better than anyone. We make sure your voice is part of your child’s journey. Our team will keep you informed, involve you in planning and work with you to ensure consistent progress at home and in school.
Regular updates on your child’s behaviour and engagement
Clear communication about any concerns, progress or improvements
Opportunities to discuss your child’s progress and next steps
Collaborative work with mainstream schools and partner professionals
    Safeguarding First
Your child’s safety is always our top priority
Keeping children safe is central to everything we do. All staff receive regular safeguarding training and follow clear procedures to ensure every pupil is protected and supported. We work closely with schools, social care and local authorities when needed to make sure information is shared appropriately and concerns are dealt with quickly.

  • A clear outline of the support we’ll provide
  • Times, sessions and routines explained in advance
  • Information about transport (where applicable)
